Strikes me that the next group build project should have an ANZAC type theme - say a Brewster Buffalo, or a Boomerang, or, on the ground, Matilda II in the Pacific.AlFronthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03309612957773750838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6713133878713687741.post-28871261592014715722012-05-11T03:53:16.387-07:002012-05-11T03:53:16.387-07:00Lovely aircraft Stephen, well done.

The light problem is also related to my only having time for kit bashing in the late evening - the Hurricane looked much better in the morning light today.
The decal key (though not 100% guaranteed) is to gloss varnish (or Klear) the model before applying the decals, then, when thoroughly dry, matt varnish over. Works a treat. Usually. The Sky decals are good too, with very little carrier film, but remarkable sticking power - I had to be extra careful putting them in place.
My apologies to Nick!AlFronthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03309612957773750838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6713133878713687741.post-58023436297238968272012-05-11T00:52:45.655-07:002012-05-11T00:52:45.655-07:00Really well done Stephen.
